This is one of my favorite little plein air pieces I’ve ever painted, it makes me so happy to look at it, all the tiny detail like the fish swimming around and the long leaves jumping out. I remember that beautiful day in the community garden of 9th Street and Avenue C. Painted in acrylic on stretch canvas.
